Stacey Olika kicked off the 2023 Creative Industries Unlocked programme with an inspirational and very interactive session perfectly designed to inspire and motivate this group of Year 12 students thinking about taking the first steps into their creative industry career journeys.

The Creative Industries Unlocked programme from widening participation’s Faculty of Arts Engagement Team brings together students from across a wide variety of Bristol schools and colleges from a range of different backgrounds to highlight some of the fantastic career opportunities in this growing sector in a number of exciting in-person sessions.

Stacey‘s session introduced the enormous variety of careers and pathways that exist in the creative industries which enthused and excited the students who were keen to hear about Stacey’s own journey and experiences so far. MyWorld are delighted to support this programme and is very grateful to Stacey for getting involved!

“I think Stacey was a really great facilitator to start the course with, because they were young and relatable to us. They were really inspiring because despite being successful they’re still relatively new to their careers so they felt closer to us in that they didn’t graduate uni that long ago”
