Project details
Working with NVIDIA, The Black Laboratory is developing a system to allow digitally animated and digitally controlled characters to be performed using the techniques of physical puppet performance.
The work aims to combine the benefits of both physical and digital characters, allowing performances by skilled puppeteers to be captured, edited, enhanced, and applied to a wider range of characters and media, beyond the limitations of physical spaces.
