What is DynaDolly?

With DynaDolly, Motion Impossible aims to combine the precision of motion control with the finesse of human operators, leveraging technologies like optical tracking and machine learning. The goal of this research is to create a system that ensures consistency in camera control while preserving the creative influence of production crews.

An insight into Motion Impossible

Motion Impossible was founded in 2014 by award-winning Cameraman Rob Drewett and Product Design Engineer Andy Nancollis. They specialise in innovative camera dolly systems for film and TV. Motion Impossible has a workforce of 27. The R&D team is 8 people across mechanical, electronic, mechatronic and software. They have a proven track record of developing products and have successfully completed another Innovate UK & MyWorld Catalysts & Connectors projects.
