“Contamination”

This was the theme of the MyWorld sponsored and supported Computer Science Society GamesJam which took place over 2 days from Sunday 29 October – Monday 30 October.

17 unique and innovative working games were created by over 70 students over the two days which was an impressive outcome!

MyWorld representatives were part of the judging panel along with colleagues from the Bristol Digital Games Lab and School of Computer Science at the University of Bristol. MyWorld also sponsored the “Best Gameplay” prize as well as “Best Visuals” prize. There were some really interesting interpretations of the theme, contamination, and some excellent technical skill and creativity on display during the event. The event was a phenomenal success, and we are glad that everyone enjoyed it so much!

“We greatly appreciate MyWorld’s support in sponsoring some of the prizes, as well as sourcing judges with relevant expertise. This was a great event and is one of the biggest in our annual calendar of activities, bringing together students from lots of different backgrounds and giving them the creative and supportive environment to learn new skills and have lots of fun together!"
