This is an opportunity to spend five months at The Sheds, and across venues in Bristol, to explore effective real time interactions in hybrid (digital and live) performance environments with different audiences.

We are inviting people with a deep understanding of audience interaction design for hybrid performance, and relevant experience of rapid testing.

This Fellowship aligns with an R&D project Fusioncast which is aiming to build a platform that will enhance live music, festival, and performance experiences by developing and demonstrating a real-time virtual production pipeline that supports interactive, distributed live performance.

We will award one person £12,000 for five months at 3 days/week face to face. You will be contracted and paid via Watershed and embedded in the FusionCast team.

MyWorld Fellowships are aimed at freelancers, practitioners, industry folk, and practice-led academics based in the West of England. They offer paid experimentation and research time, with an emphasis on collaboration and interdisciplinary working. Unlike more traditional Fellowships, we encourage people to make things and be part of an active network of people with extraordinary skills and expertiseYou will bring an existing practice, expertise or other relevant experience to an industry setting and share learnings publicly.

We believe our work will be stronger with greater diversity and welcome applications from those who are currently underrepresented in the culture, technology and higher education sectors. We understand that each of us brings our experiences, our backgrounds and our own unique lens to what we do so no one is expected to represent any specific groups.
