The Robotic Lab has an extensive range of equipment including KUKA KR120 6-axis industrial Robotic Arm with 120kg payload capacity. The arm is further facilitated with a rotary axis, large scale pellet 3D printing head, facility for large scale paste 3D printing and high-speed milling spindle. The lab has an extensive range of collaborative robotic arms (cobots) including UR10e, Omron TM12 and Fanuc 25CTX. Not funded by MyWorld.
Novel setups are available to utilise these cobots for large scale creations, including 3-meter vertical and 5-meter horizontal 7th axis rails. The equipment pool also include a Kairos autonomous mobile robot fitted with a UR10 robotic arm, high precision 3D scanners and computer vision equipment.
