Watershed are delighted to be launching their first two Fellowships in Residence as part of MyWorld.
The Fellowships in Residence will support a period of short future-facing work injecting experimentation, ethics, and depth to a strand of technological enquiry. They are aimed at freelancers, practitioners, industry, and academics.
They are designed to amplify MyWorld’s work and give more people the chance to experiment with new technologies, create meaningful experiences for audiences, ask questions and test out high-risk ideas. Fellowship calls will be drip-fed over the next few years with a range of themes corresponding with research emerging out of MyWorld.
Apply now to become a Fellow in Residence as part of MyWorld, embedded with a relevant partner. Some of your time is spent within Watershed’s Pervasive Media Studio, which hosts a diverse and collaborative community of over 100 residents exploring creativity and technology.
Watershed have two practice-based Fellowship opportunities at present:
· A 10-month Fellowship embedded at Ultraleap: ‘VR gaming at home: prototyping hand tracking gestures’
· A 7-month Fellowship at Bristol Old Vic, embedded in the digital presentation of Complicité’s forthcoming production: ‘Digital audiences: liveness, immersion and connection’
Closing date: Monday 14 November at 10.00 a.m
